History & Criticism Tutor (p / t) The Glasgow School of Art Ongoing

Currently a Visiting Staff member at the GSA, in the Historical and Critical Studies Department. The position primarily involves the organisation and running year 1 Discussion Groups, which form an integral part of the First-Year curriculum.

Artist in Residence (solo) Summerlee Industrial Museum, Coatbridge September

Involved production and presentation of visitor-centric 2-dimensional works, which formed the basis of North Lanarkshire Councils' new art collection. The works commemorated and reflected the re-opening of Summerlee Museum of Industrial Heritage, an important national visitor attraction. The Residency also involved the creation of various workshops and informal talks for the public and for visual arts groups.

_one_mile_radius_ (solo) Montgomery's Coffee House, Glasgow June

Solo endeavour based upon the notion of creating a coherent visual exploration of the urban and semi-urban sights within a 1-mile radius of the venue in the West End of Glasgow. Ran throughout the course of the West End Festival, and showcased a range of work which forms the forefront of my practice. Curated by Ugly Duck Promotions Ltd.

New View - Aberdeen (solo) Aberdeen Arts Centre, Aberdeen February-March

Solo Show in the main Gallery Space at the Arts Centre in Aberdeen. Based around the idea of presenting emboldened and "altered" views of the Aberdonian cityscape, the show featured sculptural works, photographs and painted works. It was extremely well attended and well received.
